It is relatively easy to install: you have remove a section of the downspout to install the two pieces. Once the section of downspout is removed, installation of the diverter and hose is easy. Great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as intended *by A***A on 23 September 2026* This was super easy to install. Measurements were clear and true. The downspout works very well and happy with purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Let It Rain *by D***J on 15 September 2026* I installed this in late August. 50 gal rain barrel and 3in downspout. Cutting the downspout was the hardest part. I used a hacksaw and removed the downspout for an easier cut. Diverter fit well. My rain barrel is to the left of the downspout so I had to switch the diverter control. I had trouble getting it to go up and down. It sticks and I have to push it from inside the diverter to get it all the way down. I believe another reviewer had the same problem. It worked fine from the factory but once I changed the direction to the left it binds. It still works but I will have to open it up to close it for the winter and again in the summer. Still, I am happy with the purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - Downspout Diverter, Rainwater Diverter Fits for 3"x4" Oversize Downspout and 2"x3" Downspout, Rainwater Collection System with Adjustable Valve, Diverts Water into Rain Barrel, 4ft.
