Engineered for high-pressure (up to 600 psi) and high-temperature (up to 660°F) environments, it features a twin ferrule compression seal that guarantees leak resistance without tools or sealants. Ideal for demanding industrial applications including chemical, petroleum, and medical sectors, this fitting offers robust corrosion resistance and effortless installation where heat sources are restricted. ## Description The Horiznext bulkhead fitting 1/2 inch 1/4 npt is made of type 304 stainless steel tube, and connects tubing to threaded pipe conforming to the National Pipe Thread (NPT) standard in a straight run. This coupler is for a fixed connection between tubing and pipe made of stainless steel. A twin ferrule compression fitting connects to tubing on one end for a leak-resistant seal in high-pressure, high-vacuum, and high-vibration applications, and a male NPT connector on the other end connects to threaded pipe. This fitting is made of chemically hardened type 304 stainless steel that provides higher strength and greater corrosion resistance than untreated stainless steel. It is commonly used in chemical, petroleum, power generation, laboratory, and medical device plants. Pipe and ss tubing coupler are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. Bulkhead fittings do not require tools or sealants, and are useful in installations where a heat source, such as a soldering torch, is prohibited. When purchasing fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness). ## Features - Bulkhead fitting connects to ss tubing on one end and has an NPT male thread on the other - Thread End: 1/2" Male NPT；Compression End: Fits 1/4" OD Tubing - Made of stainless steel 304, heavy duty and durable - The working pressure can reach 600 psi - Temperature range from -100 to + 660 degrees ℉ ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07S4BM9F1 | | Brand Name | Horiznext | | Colour | Stainless Steel | | Connector Type | Coupling | | Country of Publication | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (182) | | Exterior Finish | Stainless Steel | | Item Highlight | Male NPT Coupler for 1/2 in OD tube compatible with brass, copper and stainless steel tubing for industrial lines | | Item Weight | 0.07 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Horiznext | | Manufacturer Part Number | 38483 | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | 38483 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Size | NPT1/4-1/2" O.D. | | Thread Size | 1/4 inch | | Thread Type | NPT | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Horiznext - **Colour:** Stainless Steel - **Connector Type:** Coupling - **Exterior Finish:** Stainless Steel - **Item Weight:** 0.07 Kilograms - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Size:** NPT1/4-1/2" O.D. - **Thread Size:** 1/4 inch - **Thread Type:** NPT ## Images ![1/4 Compression Fitting, Stainless Steel 304 Tube Fittings, 1 Pc - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31s2H71j4mL.jpg) ![1/4 Compression Fitting, Stainless Steel 304 Tube Fittings, 1 Pc - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41PZvGlZkJL.jpg) ![1/4 Compression Fitting, Stainless Steel 304 Tube Fittings, 1 Pc - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41rKOgUsEpL.jpg) ![1/4 Compression Fitting, Stainless Steel 304 Tube Fittings, 1 Pc - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41y9npNehdL.jpg) ![1/4 Compression Fitting, Stainless Steel 304 Tube Fittings, 1 Pc - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41bek2fIbvL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/645103781-1-4-compression-fitting-stainless-steel-304-tube-fittings-1](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/645103781-1-4-compression-fitting-stainless-steel-304-tube-fittings-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
