**Q: Why does it burn so bad?!**
A: The formulation of the glycolic acid pads is made at 20%, which makes it quite strong, so mild discomfort may be expected. But if the irritation persists, and the directions were followed we strongly recommend discontinuing use and visiting a dermatologist to avoid any skin damage. Another point that may need to be taken into consideration is to follow the directions correctly, the product is not intended to be left on the skin but rather allow it to sit for 1-2 minutes and then rinsed off, followed by moisturization of the area. If the indications are not followed and product is left in the skin by more than the suggested time or if it is not rinsed correctly the skin may get damaged.
