## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is a caulking gun and what is it used for?**
A: A caulking gun is a tool for the clean and controlled application of sealants, adhesives or silicone from standard cartridges. It is often used in the construction, sanitary and DIY sectors.

**Q: What types of cartridge guns are there?**
A: There are manual, battery-powered and compressed air-powered cartridge guns. Manual models are the most common, while battery-powered and compressed air-powered models have been developed for professional use.

**Q: What does the power ratio of a cartridge press mean?**
A: The force ratio describes the ratio of the manual force applied to the actual pressure force on the cartridge. A higher ratio makes it easier to work with viscous materials, as less force is required.
