Review: Too many good things to say - read the full review! - Long review, but worth the read, I PROMISE! The skin grip in the photo is one I cut to fit my sensor. I had the Medtronic patches previously and wanted to use them up before ordering new ones that fit my sensor so I just cut the others down to size. This has been on my arm for about 9 days now. I have been using skin grips for years and have turned at least 50 people onto them as well - most were complete strangers. Use with skin tac wipes and these will last at least two weeks, if not longer. I am constantly outside as we are a family who enjoys hunting, fishing, shot g** sports, swimming, etc. and nothing has held up like skin grips. I also sweat really really bad and they are completely resistant to my horrific sweating. 😂 if there was ever an advocate for skin grips, it’s 100% me. I’ve been using these for years after having to change my sensor three times in one day due to being on the ocean fishing and swimming and between the ocean water and the sweat, my previous tape just would not stay on my body. I ordered these, went back to Florida a few weeks later, spent TWELVE HOURS in the SUMMER sun fishing, sweating like a stuffed pig, and swimming/diving to look for scallops, starfish, shells, etc. not once did I have to change my sensor again because this sensor cover stayed STUCK like a leech. I have put these skin grips through some pretty rigorous activities and have intentionally done things to try to get it to come off (just to test the durability) and I have never had any issues at all. I have had sensors fail just because they were bad sensors and had already put these skin grips skin grip on, and when I tell you taking it off literally ripped skin…whew. So now I make sure that the sensor connects to my insulin pump and is working the way it should BEFORE applying my skin grip. 😂 my mother in law uses them now, and friend of mine who’s son is a diabetic uses them for the sensor and the omnipod, I have other friends and family who use them now, and the amount of strangers who I have shared these with are now religious users. I always take a few to my endo appts too and hand them out with skin tac so others can try them before they buy them because I just love them so much and want others to not have to be limited in outdoor activities due to not having an aggressively adhesive covering for their life saving equipment. Diabetics shouldn’t be limited to activities due to fear of device failure from water, sweat, and activities. Or, from the fear that they equipment will fail during the activity and worry because they don’t have extras to replace it or insurance won’t cover the replacement. So again, if there was ever a true advocate for skin grips, it would whole heartedly be me. 😂 I do wish there were more options for designs though in the different sizes. If the Skin Grips company sees this review, I have design ideas that I would LOVE to share! 😏 and if you need an advertiser, I am your girl! Please reach out! 💙 To my dia-buddies, please don’t waste your time on other coverings. Order these and the skin tac. For best use, shower first, do not apply lotion or any moisturizing product to the area, dry well, clean area well with rubbing alcohol, apply the skin tac, insert sensor or pump infusion set, MAKE SURE IT ALL CONNECTS AND IS WORKING WELL, THEN apply the skin grip. I have applied before a shower and it has held up, but the edges started to peel away before the two weeks was up. So, I always try to time my equipment changes for after showering to get the best use. Enjoy and stop letting other tapes and supplies keep you from living. Order these and go live your best life!
Review: Very helpful! - I am happy to have found these patches. So far, they help me stay aware of protecting my sensor so it doesnt pop off my arm during the 14 day use. So far, even after a few bumps on the sensor it has stayed in place. After reading reviews with concerns about patch sticking to the freestyle sensor i have a few suggestions for less stressful usage and possibly increasing the life of each patch.. 1. Exposure to water seems to cut down the life of the patch. I have had success keeping the patch on for the 14 day life of my freestyle sensor. I do protect my patch in the shower by applying a larger sheet of GLAD PRESS 'N SEAL over the patch to tent it from the water. Its not perfect but it has helped cut down exposure to water. It may take some experimentation to find what works best for you. 2. To prepare for smoothly applying the patch, lay patch on a flat surface, then fold out three of the four paper patch covers so the tips extend beyond the edge of the patch. The revealed space on the patch is just larger than your sensor. Pull off the 4th paper flap and cut it down into a circle the SAME size as your freestyle sensor. Do this to keep the patch from adhering to your sensor. (If your circle is larger than the sensor, the edges of the paper disk may be uncomfortable on your skin.) Center the glossy, paper circle you just cut out on the revealed area of the patch. Now when the patch is applied over your sensor the patch will cover and hold your sensor in place... but the patch will not stick to your sensor -- just to the circle and your skin.) Apply the patch: Center the patch's paper circle over the sensor on your arm and press on your arm. Then slowly pull on each of the three 'tips' for a smooth patch application. (After applying the patch I cut the other three paper flaps into circles for future use.) So far i'm pleased. I've used the patches for a couple of months now.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product!

These work awesome with SkinTac and stay on my husband for the duration we need. We wish they came in fun patterns. Great product! My husband is a Type 1 diabetic and with the medication and his sweat some bandages slide right off, even after using SkinTac.
