But we took it out for a sweets party we were invited to a few weeks ago. The box is really nice. When you open it, there is a nice cover inside that fits tight over the beans so they stay fresh. I made a carafe of it as a pour over with some desserts. It has a noticable fruit flavor and good nose coming out of the ccontainer, but also when it is brewed which is nice. I couldn't tell by the brand page, but the sweet flavor makes me wonder if the beans are hand washed. Handwashing makes them taste sweeter and full bodied, but the consistency of the coffee is thinner, meaning you can see the edges of your cup unline those chewy, heavy morning roasts. We served it with a fruit and cheese platter, and a nice cream pastry from a local bakery. It was delicious and really nice with some little chocolate cannolis that are also a little floral.
