Saw a friend using one, so thought I'd give it a try. For the money, wow. Sure seems accurate when I compare it to a tape. When used during construction, there are so many obstacles that it's often hard to get a tape measure accurate enough to compare. When I can, it seems spot on. My only problem with it is that it defaults to metric. Easy to change readings, but wish I could change the default. (Maybe you can, just haven't figured it out yet.) Wasn't enough to take off a star though as it doesn't detract from the overall functionality. Have dropped this a few times with no issues. Seems to be bult very well.
