This is a cute art deco retro dashboard ornament if you want to drive like it is still the late fifties, big fins, bench seats, willing girls, and tons of sheet metal. However, this device is NOT a thermometer. It reads at least ten degrees Fahrenheit above ambient in the house. I put it outside during our recent February 2021 polar vortex, when the temperatures dropped to below freezing, and it stuck at positive 50 F. So, save your money and buy a better car thermometer. Like I am going to have to. I liked the fifties though. Cool cars. Nice girls.

### ⭐⭐ Not a premier Fahrenheit thermometer

Major measuring system is CELSIUS. There are Fahrenheit numbers but the numbers are about the 1/3 the size of Celsius. Very difficult to read from a distance. Not helpful to me.
