Review: Better then the Original Cross Refills - Over the years I have purchased many different refills for my Cross ballpoint pen and most times it is from the manufacturer (Cross) and from time to time these inks don't work or they stop working shortly after changing refills. Many times the store doesn't have the color I want or the point (medium, fine) I am looking for. However- I have found these refills from MONTEVERDE work great, have a great ink viscosity with little to no ink blotching like you get with any ballpoint pen. Here on desertcart you can even select from a very wide range of colors since I personally like to use the purple and brown colors for various forms I fill out. I should also stress that the price here for these refills can't be beat by any other stores and most times you can get 2 inks cheaper then the price of one Cross refill - try it for yourself and see.

**Q: How would you rate the pink color? Is it a paler pink or is it more magenta?**
A: Sorry - I only ought the RED refills for cross oens.

**Q: Mine dried up after a couple weeks-did anyone else have this problem and how can I fix it? I've tried all the usual tricks to get a ballpoint started**
A: Felt pens and markers can be soaked in hot water to rehydrate the tip.  I read online to apply heat to the tip of the ballpoint ink pen and tried that but ended up melting my pen.  Perhaps you will have better luck.

**Q: would this fit a Zebra series F pen**
A: Do not know?

**Q: Does this work for a Cross Edge pen?**
A: The Edge is a roller ball pen, not a ball point.  I have both and the ballpoint refill though great for the right pen will NOT work in the Edge.  Ask Monteverde if they have refills for the Edge as they are quick and the refills I have been using are great.
