To be fair this is mentioned on the packaging, but this is a downside as you could stain practically anything even your pearly white teeth, if you aren't careful, so minus a star. Swallow the tablet quickly with water to avoid that and wash your hands afterwards! I find the tablets easy to swallow and without side effects as they include black pepper which can give some acid indigestion. Personally I never noticed any difference taking turmeric with or without black pepper as I always sprinkle it on my meals anyways. Since purchasing, this product has gone up a couple of quid, so that would put me off repurchasing again for awhile until it goes back down in price. I got a bargain and the tablets seem to be working on my dodgy knee combined with devil's claw! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Possible side effects of turmeric acid .check them out before buying . *by M***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 August 2018* Unfortunately I am unable to give this product a fair review, my husband was taking to reduce inflammation in his lungs them as he has COPD . He started burping a lot after taking them for at least two week,. I decided to google for side effects of Tumeric and it indicated that they shouldn’t be taken if you are taking medication for reflux . We decided to discontinue them, his burping has greatly reduced, this however maybe a coincidence .
