Review: Lives up to its promise - Ok, I do NOT love the taste on its own, but I had no expectation of loving the taste either. This was a Dr. Oz recommended supplement and I got it especially for business travel, as I do my own 'green shakes' at home. Mixed in with the protein powder I use in a glass of water in the am made drinking it more palatable. It also kept me feeling full and I know healthier during holiday travel. I felt more energized drinking this daily than with protein powder alone. If you're buying it for taste forget it, if you're buying for healthier nutrition especially while on the go, I highly recommend (also recommend mixing it with something else before drinking). Review: I wasn’t a fan but now I am - Update: I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Long story short: KETO diet helped me lose weight and also gave me hypertension and high cholesterol. I was given the opportunity to lower my numbers on my own before being put on prescription meds... drinking one packet a day has literally been my saving grace. Of course change in diet helps and adding this just makes it that much easier. I had this on AutoShip but I wasn’t drinking it as fast as I anticipated. The taste isn’t completely horrible but it’s also not something I crave either. I don’t mind drinking it but for some reason I just can’t get myself to drink it regularly so I stopped my AutoShip until I finish this up I have. Like I mentioned in the headline it’s not terrible but it’s also not super amazing either. I’m somewhere in the middle with this one ## Features - Our most popular blend thoughtfully combines our alkalizing farm fresh greens and wholesome fruits and vegetables with nutrient-rich superfoods for a delicious way to feel amazing every day. - Supports overall health and immunity. - 2 full servings of fruits and vegetables. How?** A: Green vibrance packs a powerful punch as it has some 134 ing. This has 29. BUT, what I do, is use a scoop of EACH. The wonderfulness of the flavor from this completely cancels out the "green" taste of the original green vibrance. Problem solved and I'm getting every single green on earth. You should try it **Q: This product looks amazing but it doesn't say what it does specifically...What does this product DO? Aaaand, can i mix it in with my protein shakes?TY** A: We mix it in with muffin, pancake or waffle mix. We also put it in smoothies, and.... mix it with oj, stir and chug each morning if not mixed in with the other items I mentioned. My family of 4 has a serving daily and we've all avoided getting sick despite 1/3 of my daughter's 1st grade class being out with the stomach bug and a ton of 10th grade kids out with bronchitis. My hubby wouldn't drink or eat this stuff until he got a bad cold and I suggested he give it a try. He had 2 servings/day and was feeling a lot better by the next day. Coincidence, perhaps, but his 11 day cold got a lot better the very next day after drinking this stuff. **Q: Is this the same amazing grass that was fined $200,000+ by state of california for heavy metal lead content per the latimes article dated sept. 2019?** A: Yes. However this particular product was not included in the 2019 settlement. The products found to contain elevated levels of lead were: Amazing Meal Pomegranate Mango Infusion, Amazing Grass Green Superfood Whole Food Nutrition Bar Café Mocha, Amazing Grass Green Superfood Whole Food Nutrition Bar Lemon Coconut, Amazing Grass Green Superfood Whole Food Nutrition Bar Chocolate, Amazing Grass Green Superfood Whole Food Nutrition Bar Chocolate Chip Coconut, Amazing Grass Green Superfood Alkalize & Detox, Amazing Grass Green Superfood Tangerine Immunity Defense, Amazing Grass Organic Wheat Grass, Amazing Grass Green Superfood Pineapple Multivitamin Lemongrass, and Amazing Grass Green Superfood Watermelon Energy, Amazing Grass Green Superfood Acai-Berry Antioxidant ORAC. **Q: Does this product contain any caffeine...added or naturally occurring? Just wondering if I should avoid taking this in the evening.** A: Yes it does-naturally occuring. I forgot about that and drank it at night-and ended up having a panic attack. I still drink it; just not late at night. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lives up to its promise *by T***E on December 30, 2014* Ok, I do NOT love the taste on its own, but I had no expectation of loving the taste either. Long story short: KETO diet helped me lose weight and also gave me hypertension and high cholesterol. I was given the opportunity to lower my numbers on my own before being put on prescription meds... drinking one packet a day has literally been my saving grace. I’m somewhere in the middle with this one ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Taste isn’t that bad *by D***J on December 18, 2023* People gagging over the taste are being ridiculous. It’s a green juice powder so obviously it’s going to have an earthy taste (similar to matcha). Had it for breakfast with just water, it’s what you would expect if you know what to expect. It is a little gritty but that would be easily solved by blending it with juice, a smoothie, etc. I just added water and stirred it with a spoon. Ultimately it’s a good supplement and nothing to be dramatic about. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazing Grass Greens Blend Superfood: Super Greens Powder Smoothie Mix with Spirulina, Chlorella, Beet Root Powder, Digestive Enzymes, Prebiotics & Probiotics, Original, 15 Servings (Packaging May Vary) - Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Powder Supplement, Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides Travel Pack, 20 Individual Packets - Amazing Grass Greens Blend Antioxidant: Super Greens Powder with Spirulina, Beet Root Powder, Elderberry, Prebiotics & Probiotics, Sweet Berry, 15 Servings (Packaging May Vary) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/6373439-amazing-grass-super-greens-powder-stick-packs-original-15-servings](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/6373439-amazing-grass-super-greens-powder-stick-packs-original-15-servings) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
