ALPS Mountaineering Aluminum Roll-Top Camp Table with Fast Setup and Compact Storage

Ok so this table to is super light, it goes together very easy and once its all connected its very sturdy. What I did not know is that this table is wind rated. I had this table setup at a campsite on a day when wind gust were up to 60mph (96kmh). This table never flew and only had minimal items on top of it to keep it weighed down but it never moved an inch. The table comes together so easy and its the same for breaking it down, along with the provided bag it makes for a compact and easy carry option for all my outdoor activities. I highly recommend this table to anyone looking for a great addition to their outdoor equipment.

Not much more to add from the headline. I also have the coleman version of this table but the price of that one has gone up to double this one, so I gave this a try and have not been disappointed. Perfect for car camping. I use one as a prep table and the other to set the big camp stove on. You can easily fit a couple of adults or four kids around it for eating. It packs up small and light as well, smaller than an average camping chair. It is all aluminum so no worries about setting a hot skillet on it or leaving it out in the rain overnight on a campout.

Great camp table, very lightweight and easy to store and transport. I like that the storage pouch has separated pockets for the legs / table top as I can see how it might rattle a bit if not. Easy to set up and take down. Not huge, but big enough for a medium "catch all" table or to prepare food on; 2 people to eat at which is all we need. You can't out your legs under the table as the legs and support are in the way but let's face it - it's not made for fine dining ;) Very happy with this purchase, great value for the price and perfect fro traveling. LOVE how lightweight it is for a sturdy table!

I purchased two different ALPS tables, the Mountaineering and Square Junction both made by ALPS, however the Square Junction is not available through Amazon. Both setup easily, but the Square Junction is easier. The Mountaineering table is a little more cumbersome brand new, and I can see it getting worse with some dirt or sand involved, potentially binding up the legs. I prefer the table top attachment on the Mountaineering table, but both seem to be functional. For sturdiness the nod definitely goes to the Square Junction. The Mountaineering frame seems flimsy compared to the square sturdy frame of the Square Junction. The Mountaineering is slightly smaller than the Square Junction however weighs less. The bags are similar in size with the Square Junction being slightly longer to accommodate the larger table top. For price, the Square Junction should be about $20 more than the Mountaineering, but I found it for less than I paid for Mountaineering table on another website. I was planning to return the Mountaineering table given how much more I like the Square Junction, but I've decided to keep both since I'm sure they will both be handy.

I recently purchased this to replace an old Coleman wooden table top with steel legs. I specifically chose this because the wood top on my old one rotted away and the legs started to rust after a few seasons: and i didn't leave it out in the weather. This, however, is almost all aluminum. So no rot or rust. The assembly instructions sewn into the carry case are a bit confusing the first time out (and hard to read being in the bag), but once you figure it out its a snap. I used it for the first time when we fired up our outdoor grill for the first time this season and it was a tremendous help. Plus it only took a minute to set up and a minute to put away when we were done. It is light weight and very stable when assembled. I would recommend this to anyone who is limited on space and loves to cook out doors. This is an awesome grill companion or a nice side table for condiments and the like. I, myself, am a big guy and would not be able to sit down and eat at this table as the legs are too close to the outer edge of the large top.

This is a fantastic table! This summer I did some "dispersed camping" and quickly realized I needed a table. I wanted one that folded down to a small size, but set up to be big enough to cook and eat on. I also wanted to be able to use a stove on it. The working surface of this table is aluminum, so it'll handle the heat of the stove. It folds down to almost nothing (smaller than and about as light as most camp chairs). I like that when set up the table top is fastened to the legs so you can pick the whole thing up and move it easily. (A friend has a different table that the table-top lifts off the legs, so you can't move it all at once. I didn't want that.) This table is completely ideal for what I bought it for!

I made a last minute purchase before going out camping because I was not sure if we'd have a picnic table to put the stove on. I had the luck because our site did not come with one, and this table was small enough to stick among our bags, light enough to carry, and sturdy enough for our purpose. It is easy to set up or break down, and it looks so neat when put together. My fellow campers liked it so much they wanted to know where I got it. This is going to be among our standard equipment for our future camping trips for sure.

I use this table for art fests. I write poetry on mg typewriter, and this table works great. It is very easy to assemble, super lightweight, and is sturdy enough to sit a 10lb typewriter on. The cross bars come down a bit too far to sit with my knees under, so I scoot my chair back and it’s fine. Perfect height to use with a standard folding chair. Great table!

Received the table as expected. On trying it out for the first time, it seems a bit flimsy, not as stable as I would like. For basic use, no drama.

A little wobbly, sure, but the ALPS Mountaineering table is meant to pack down small and very light for minimalist car campers. @ about 2/3 the size of a camp chair when disassembled, this table packs down very well into its bag, and is a snap to set up. Just about the perfect size for a compact propane BBQ and a couple of condiment bottles or LED lamps, but not much else ... sturdiness is a distant second concern, as weight is the main virtue.

Excelente muy bonita mesa la recomiendo, es toda de aluminio es calidad y sobre todo ligera.... consta de de 5 elementos, la base, dos barras, la parte de arriba, y su bolsa ...

Se ve de buen material, resistente. Aunque es de aluminio, es buen producto Es ligera y se arma fácilmente, solo hay que tener paciencia. Yo quería una mesa más alta, está mide 68cm de alto, pero es funcional. Si fuera más alta, sería la compra perfecta, o si fuera ajustable de altura.

Fantastic piece of kit, lightweight, assembles easily in minutes and looks great. Can hold a good weight too. Expensive but worth it
