## Description

Zerex Heavy Duty Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant from Valvoline is formulated to meet the harsher demands of heavy-duty diesel engines such as Cummins, DDC, MACK, Navistar, Paccar and Volvo. It can also be used in gasoline engines, stationary power, marine, natural gas and light duty applications. Our Organic Acid Technology (OAT) is charged with special inhibitors to help extend the longevity of your engine by protecting internal parts from pitting, cavitation, corrosion and hard-water scale deposits. Developed with the highest-quality virgin ethylene glycol, it’s able to prevent freezes and boil-overs. And it’s guaranteed to perform for up to 3 years, 30,000 miles or 7,000 hours of operation with no supplemental coolant additives required when used in conformity with package and label instructions and specifications. When it comes to protecting and prolonging the performance of your heavy-duty engine, trust Zerex for the long haul.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can i run this in my 2008 jeep patriot**
A: Formulated for Cummins, Detroit, John Deere, International & other Diesel Engines. Not sure about your jeep patriot.

**Q: Is this dex cool? I know its a pink color nd i thought dex cool was pink is dex cool orange?**
A: This product is not DEXCOOL. This is intended for heavy duty trucks, most often larger than passenger vehicles. If you are looking for the DEXCOOL formulation, we suggest using the Valvoline Zerex DEX-COOL Antifreeze/Coolant, Ready to Use - 1gal (ZXELRU1).

**Q: Would this work with Toyota Card?**
A: We will need a little bit more information to make an accurate recommendation for this vehicle. Please give us a call at 800-832-6825 option 5 to discuss this application in further detail.

**Q: What color is this coolant?**
A: This coolant is a Pinkish Red color. it is a more economical alternative to Caterpillars EC-1 Rated coolant and will mix with other EC-1 Rated coolant. This coolant was used to Replace Fords Gold coolant in my 06 Power stroke Diesel as it has a longer life and will not crystallize in crucial components such as the Oil cooler. Hope this helps
