Each box includes 30 individual serving 2.4g sticks. Each stick (2.4g) thickens 5-6 fl oz to mildly thick (nectar) or 3-4 fl oz to moderately thick (honey). Purathick is the first USDA organic thickener in America. Purathick increases the viscosity (thickness) of cold and hot liquids effectively. Thickened beverages are sometimes recommended for the management of conditions present with dysphagia. Always consult a medical professional before thickening liquids to ensure it is appropriate for your individual needs. Purathick is made of 3 simple ingredients: Organic Tapioca Maltodextrin, Organic Tara Gum, and Calcium Carbonate. Consisting of an off-white fine powder, Purathick is tasteless, odorless and smooth. Purathick is hypoallergenic, free of corn, wheat, gluten, soy, whey, casein, lactose & dairy. It is also non-GMO, vegan & made from kosher pareve ingredients. Review: Great for travel! - I actually prefer the gel version of thickener the most. It starts working instantly whether the liquid is cold or room temperature. However, I get it in bulk and it's a pain for when we are traveling. I use these packets for traveling and emergency backups by putting a few in the glove box. My son needs thickened liquids. For room temperature this is supposed to work instantly, and cold you wait 5 minutes. I usually have to wait a minute or two even for room temperature. But I love the individual measured packets. If you need on a normal basis, getting in bulk whether powder or gel is the best bet price wise though. For longer trips I have gotten the larger of powder, but that one I found was a different brand that I had to wait whether the liquid was room temperature or cold. This one seems to kick on faster for room temperature. Review: Natural thickener - Great natural product, powder form needs a shaker bottle blender to mix well. ## Features - Thickens Hot & Cold Liquids - No Taste, Smooth Consistency - Convenient Single Serving Packets - USDA Organic Powder Thickener, GMO Free & Kosher - Doesn't Over Thicken - Easy to Mix with a Shaker or Frother/Mixer - For Adults & Children over 1 Year Old with Dysphagia ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BH58KZK4 | | Brand | PURATHICK | | Brand Name | PURATHICK | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 240 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00855764007143 | | Item Package Weight | 0.1 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Parapharma Tech | | Number of Pieces | 30 | | Package weight | 0.1 Kilograms | | Part Number | PUR-RET-003N | | UPC | 855764007143 | | Unit Count | 71.9993 gram | | Unit count | 71.9993 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** PURATHICK - **Manufacturer:** Parapharma Tech - **Package weight:** 0.1 Kilograms - **UPC:** 855764007143 - **Unit count:** 71.9993 gram ## Images ![Natural Thickener Box of 30 Individual Serving Sticks, Thickens Hot and Cold Liquids for People with Dysphagia (1 Box) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/818DGaXdpIL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for travel! *by R***S on 7 July 2025* I actually prefer the gel version of thickener the most.
