I like the strap on this new case because I can slip in on my wrist to carry unlike my older case. (At first I didn’t think I had received the strap since it was inside the case and difficult to see.) With a hard case I can place my gps into a larger bag and not worry about it being damaged by other items. My gps fit loosely in the case so I remove two sections of the foam to pad the sides for a tighter fit. There is a flap that divides the case so there are no worries about your gps screen being scratch by the charger.
