But paired with this skull cap, my hair was safe from any damage that might’ve occurred otherwise. These are good caps. They did not meet my needs, but they would have if I used them for what they were designed for. I was hoping to use them to pin my dumbo ears against my head when putting on motorcycle helmets, but my ears are just a bit too flappy for that. However, as a liner for hard hats and similar headwear, they are pretty great
