If you need an absolute tight fit to ceiling I would not go further than five feet apart. Also, once the poles are supporting the plastic, you can easily tape the top edge to hold it tight to ceiling. **Q: Does this include a plastic barrier?** A: No, plastic sheeting is not included in the ZP4.
