Like a second room for your baby *by on Reviewed in the United States 16 August 2026* This thing is amazing!!!!!100/10 this gives me so much freedom! We have used this thing a lot! I used it for a month at home. Because of its flexible fabric it fit over his normal crib at home so he could get used to it. This was not really necessary as I found he didn’t mind it at all.Now we are away from home for 6 weeks and have been at two hotels and one house. It has been great. One hotel I was with my parents and we just had to be quiet when he was falling asleep after I transferred him into the pod we were able to turn on the lights and even watch TV. I also put a sound machine, the fan that comes with it and because the fabric is flexible I can fit a big fan in the tent on the floor blowing into the play pen. Just to circulate more air and block noise. Now we are at my in-laws and in a big room with 6-10 dogs and my husband and I (we train dogs). This situation is honestly the worst for baby sleep but with the help of the pod it has been great! He is sleeping through the night like normal. He does wake up but then when he doesn’t see anything he just falls back asleep! It’s magic and honestly a LOT more effective that I would have thought. It gives him his own little room! Last night he slept all through the night and then took a 3.5 hour nap in the middle of the day. (He is 11 months old) and does tend to be a light sleeper.I would definitely recommend this product for trips but also room sharing! I wish I had it when he was younger it definitely comes in handy! We went on a trip right before we got this and I was up with him all night! Because he would wake up see us and then cry. Finally I would give up and cosleep for sanity 😂. At that hotel we had a beautiful bath tub and kitchen but weren’t able to use it because we had to be quiet and go to bed when the baby went down. The pod has changed the game and honestly given us our time and freedom back! Would definitely buy again. It is also really well made and I love that the poles are magnetic. Take down and set up is really fast and easy as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must have for travel with toddlers *by on Reviewed in Singapore 10 July 2023* Great blackout for the toddler so we don’t need to eat dinner in darkness! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pricey but worth it *by on Reviewed in the United States 22 September 2026* I have to be honest, I was considering returning this item because of its high price. However, after using it during travel I have decided to keep it since it was so effective. We went to several places that were very new for him, and I was fearful he wouldn’t be able to sleep well. He fell asleep almost immediately every night and stayed asleep the entire evening. It was such a relief and one less thing I had to worry about during our long trip. I highly recommend this product, especially with the fan. It can get hot inside without circulation. I will NOT be returning this item. ## Frequently Bought Together - SlumberPod with Fan The Original Blackout Sleep Tent Travel Essential for Baby and Toddlers, Mini Crib and Pack n Play Cover, Sleep Pod with Monitor Pouch and Fan Pouch, Blocks 95%+ Light, Black - SlumberPod SlumberTot Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed - Portable Kids Air Mattress with Safety Bumpers - Perfectly Sized Ideal for Travel or Home Use - Includes Electric Pump - SlumberPod SlumberCalm Portable Sound Machine | White Noise Sound Machine Baby | Shhh Mode | 21 Relaxing Sleep Sounds | Travel Sound Machine | Rechargeable Night Light | Baby Registry Gift --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/630618572-original-blackout-sleep-tent-with-fan-for-pack-n-play](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/630618572-original-blackout-sleep-tent-with-fan-for-pack-n-play) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
