Review: Best saw I’ve owned - Never heard of Bahco before, but read some reviews on here and decided to give it a go. I bought it to cut up some green 250x125 softwood sleepers, and wasn’t sure a handsaw would be up to the job - but this aced it. Stiffer and heavier material than most saws, feels very solid, but this kept it straight. Very sharp and accurate. Brilliant saw, highly recommended. Review: Perfect saw and an excellent price - Bought this as a gift. Although I was not familiar with the brand name I saw the other positive reviews and for the price thought it was worth a try. I am very pleased I did as the recipient of the gift was delighted and could not believe the quality of the saw for such an excellent price. He has so far only used the saw for a few small jobs, cutting MDF and pine but is confident the saw would be capable of bigger jobs. Highly recommend. ## Features - 600mm length - Tooth Pitch: 7 tpi - XT toothing ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0001IX7PQ | | Best Sellers Rank | 279,887 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 421 in Handsaws | | Blade Length | 600 Millimetres | | Blade Material | Alloy Steel | | Blade Shape | Rectangular | | Blade material | Alloy Steel | | Brand | Bahco | | Colour | Multi-color | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 166 Reviews | | Cutting Angle | 90 Degrees | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 07311518191665 | | Handle Material | Plastic | | Included Components | Bare Tool | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 56.8L x 125W x 46.8H centimetres | | Item Highlight | XT tooth geometry for aggressive cutting | Hardpoint teeth stay sharp longer | Low friction coating | Fast wood cutting | | Item Type Name | 2700-24-XT-HP Superior Handsaw 600mm (24in) 7 TPI | | Item Weight | 0.56 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Bahco | | Model Number | 2700-24-XT7-HP | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Teeth | 7 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Lightweight | | Part Number | BAH270024XT | | Power source | Manual | | Special feature | Lightweight | | Surface Recommendation | Wood | | Surface recommendation | Wood | | UPC | 735090786908 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Warranty Type | No warranty | ## Product Details - **Blade material:** Alloy Steel - **Brand:** Bahco - **Colour:** Multi-color - **Power source:** Manual - **Surface recommendation:** Wood ## Images ![2700-24-XT7-HP Superior Handsaw, 7 tpi, 600mm Length - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41rESpq9fXL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best saw I’ve owned *by A***R on 12 April 2020* Never heard of Bahco before, but read some reviews on here and decided to give it a go. The saw cuts great and doesn't bend I was going to buy a large chop saw but I'm glad I never this saw will cut anything it's just a case of getting set up and get stuck in. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bahco 2700-24-XT7-HP Superior Handsaw, 7 tpi, 600mm Length - Bahco 2600-22-Xt-Hp Handsaw 22In , Orange --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/62693538-2700-24-xt7-hp-superior-handsaw-7-tpi-600mm-length](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/62693538-2700-24-xt7-hp-superior-handsaw-7-tpi-600mm-length) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
