Review: Gerbers Great Griddle Go Green. - Excellent camping griddle. Being carbon steel it's lighter than cast iron, but has all the same strengths, the tall sidewalls are actually very useful when cooking things like sausage links or hash browns etc. You need to season this pan just like you would for cast iron, but it's simple to do, it personally used grapeseed oil because of the high smoke point and the instructions actually say grapeseed is one of the best ones but you can use others as well, the handle is super secure and easily removed if you wanted to cook over an open fire, all in all this is a great griddle for the outdoors.

Excellent camping griddle. I seasoned this pan exactly like the oven seasoning directions say. It turned out perfectly non-stick. It’s a great size and I use it for everything as long as there’s no strong acids involved. I had to knock off one star though because it’s not perfectly flat and scrambled eggs run to the edges.
