Review: Works well - Not as quiet as I'd hoped, but works very well.
Review: Disappointed After Only Two Years - I purchased this LG 18,000 BTU air conditioner in July 2024 for $699. For most of the time I owned it, the unit worked very well and had no problem keeping the house cool. Unfortunately, a little over two years later, it suddenly lost most of its cooling ability. The unit was working normally earlier in the week, then the evaporator coil began icing over. I cleaned the filter, allowed the unit to completely thaw, and went through the recommended troubleshooting steps. The fan still runs, the compressor turns on, and there is good airflow, but the air coming out is only slightly cooler than room temperature. The rear of the unit also does not seem to be exhausting much heat anymore. For an air conditioner that cost nearly $700, I expected significantly more than two years of reliable operation. What makes this especially frustrating is that the electronics still appear to work normally and the LG diagnostic system does not identify an issue, even though the loss of cooling performance is obvious. When this unit worked, it worked very well, but a major cooling-system problem after only two years makes it difficult for me to recommend at this price point. I am currently contacting LG to see whether they are willing to provide any assistance with the repair.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product
*by T***E on July 18, 2024*

Received the air condition heater two days before they said it would be delivered. Very easy install. The control panel is easy to see. I love the fact that it has an oscillating vent. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Definitely a good price. I checked our local places for the same brand less BTU was a little bit more money. When I came here and found the 18,000 BTU for this dollar amount I jumped on it.
