This cable is best suited for these factors ie 4k at 60hz and is able to wake up the monitor as soon as I touch mac keyboard. While connected the macbook is continuously charged as well that way I am not running out of battery power. Am glad that the cable works straight out of the box and its worth the money as opposed to the pricey cables on desertcart.
