As a parent, having a reliable and fast thermometer is essential, and this one delivers. The touchless design makes it hygienic and convenient, especially when checking a sleeping child’s temperature without disturbing them. The readings are quick—usually within a second or two—and appear clearly on the LCD display. I appreciate the mute mode, which allows me to take nighttime readings silently. The fever alarm is a great feature, instantly indicating if the temperature is in a concerning range. Additionally, the memory recall function is handy for tracking temperature trends over time, which is especially useful when monitoring an illness.Accuracy is always a concern with infrared thermometers, but this one consistently provides precise readings. I tested it against a traditional oral thermometer, and the results were nearly identical each time. It also works well for adults, making it a versatile tool for the whole family. One minor downside is that the battery compartment can be a little tricky to open, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I also wish it came with a storage pouch for added protection.Overall, this is a fantastic thermometer that combines accuracy, speed, and convenience. It’s an excellent choice for parents or anyone looking for a reliable touchless thermometer. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does exactly what it mean to do *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 5 August 2026* Absolutely great thermometer and exactly what we were looking. Having newborn means temperature measuring can be tricky to take and this takes all the hassle out. Display is bright so even if you not able to see temp straight away you can see by the colours if it is good or bad. Would highly recommend to anyone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 January 2026* Not the most accurate. Had to hold finger to forehead so I could tell how far away the thing was.
