## Description

Review: Excellent ash basket for Kamado style grills - I have a Kamado Joe Classic 2 and one of the first upgrades I wanted was a new ash basket. I didn't want to pay the higher price for the Kick Ash basket and after a bit of research decided on this one. I can't compare it to the Kick Ash basket since I've never owned one but I can say I'm very happy with the performance of this one so I don't need to worry about it. The basket is made of quality materials and feels both solid and durable. It fits my Kamado Joe Classic grill perfectly and has so far provided great value for the money I paid for it. If you want a good ash basket for your Kamado style grill and don't want to pay the higher price of the more popular name brand one then this is a great fit for you.
Review: Game changer for my Kamado Joe Classic - I have had a Kamado Joe since 2012 and have had to deal with removing the cast iron grate to clean the ash from my grill after cooks. Having to pull out the remaining lump charcoal by hand was dirty and time consuming. This basket eliminates that and I can keep my grill cleaner between cooks than I would have been able to before with the stock setup. Is this a "knock-off" of the Kick Ash basket? Probably. But it is built very well, and is quite heavy. I have not noticed any problems with it at all and the increased airflow makes temperature control much, much easier. And, as mentioned earlier, clean-up between cooks is a breeze. When cooking steaks via reverse sear method, this basket allows me to quickly and easily bring the temps up to searing levels. I'm sold on this thing, it has been a solid investment so far.

## Features

- 【Efficient Temperature Control & Charcoal Savings】Featuring a non-clogging vented bottom grille, this ash basket promotes balanced, free airflow on both sides for effortless high-temperature grilling. It ensures full, efficient charcoal combustion, maximizing burn performance and reducing charcoal consumption by up to 20% for cost-effective grilling. The design also keeps usable charcoal intact for future cooks, cutting down on waste and repeat purchases.
- 【Universal Fit Most Kamado/Ceramic Grills】This ash basket, with an upper diameter of 14.1 inches and a height of 5.6 inches, is precision-engineered to fit Large Big Green Egg (BGE), Kamado Joe Classic, Kamado Joe Classic II (confirmed fit), Vision Classic B, Vision Pro S-Series, GRILLA Kong Grill, Pit Boss K24, and VISION GRILL classic series M grills (Tested by consumers). It is a perfect replacement for the original version and a true king of cost performance. It also works seamlessly with most other kamado/ceramic grills of equivalent interior dimensions, including Louisiana Grills, Char-Grillers, Grill Dome, and Coyote Grills.
- 【Shake-To-Clean Convenience】Once cooled completely (never handle while hot), simply pull the basket out using the integrated handle and shake gently. Excess ash falls effortlessly to the grill bottom, while usable charcoal remains intact for future cooks—simplifying cleanup and reducing the time you spend on post-cook maintenance. This feature is a fan favorite, with customers calling it a "game-changer" for hassle-free grilling.
- 【Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Construction】Crafted from premium, food-grade stainless steel for superior toughness and long-lasting performance. Built to withstand high heat and frequent use, it resists rust, warping, and corrosion, making it an ideal replacement for Char-Griller Akorn ash baskets and other OEM equivalents. Customers praise its "solid, heavy-duty feel" and note it "still looks new after years of use."
- 【User-Friendly Premium Craftsmanship】Finished with level, chamfered wire ends and a smooth, burr-free surface, this basket eliminates sharp edges to protect your hands from cuts or snags during use. Its professional build ensures reliable performance for all your kamado grilling needs, whether you’re smoking low-and-slow or searing at high heat. Every detail is designed with the user in mind, from the sturdy handle to the precision-welded construction.
