## Description

Lightfast, durable transparent colors suitable for airbrushing almost any surface, from automotive and hard surfaces to resin kits and models. Colors atomize finely even under 10 psi; thin with 4012 High Performance Reducer if necessary. Colors gently erase after the first 48 hours and then cure to a hard coating. Thin with 4020 Automotive Reducer for solvent-like spray performance and fast drying. Createx Illustration Colors atomize finely for superior detail performance while allowing for rewettable and gently erasable techniques.

## Features

- Createx Illustration Colors are a refined, water-based airbrush colours optimized for use with Dru Blair’s Colour Buffer System. Illustration Colors offer true fine-line, detailed performance while allowing for re-wettable effects and subtle erasing techniques.
- As the name implies, Illustration Colors are designed with the illustrator and fine artist in mind without catering to the demand for high coverage base colours.
- Illustration Colors are lightfast. We use the same exterior-grade pigments we use to make our Wicked Colors and Auto-Air Colors. The difference is in the resin. Unlike Wicked Colors and Auto-Air Colors which air dry to a cured, non-soluble coating, Illustration Colors are re-wettable with an amine such as Windex.
- No reduction is necessary. Illustration Colors atomize and spray excellent through small airbrush tip sizes down to 0.15mm at low psi settings direct from the bottle.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this set have all the illustration colors?**
A: The set I ordered had the transparent colors 5050 to 5065, the 4012 reducer, and the 5090 transparent base. It did not include Paynes grey 5066, any of the opaque illustration paints, or special illustration color sets.

**Q: Can these colors be used with casting resins?**
A: You can paint the resin using these, yes, but these should not be mixed with the resin.

A: I was in the same situation with a tool i bought...It was a kit that was missing a few accessories...I needed the tool for work that day so i couldn't send the whole kit back... Amazon heard my dilemma and sent me a full kit & gave me 30 days to return the kit w/missing accessories...so in the end I didnt have to go without the tool...hope that helps!!!
