The broom holder is for a very skinny handle like that on a half sized broom which is fine, it just probably will not hold a full sized broom unless it's one of those with a metal handle that's unusually small diameter. Used this several times, the rubber lip is extra good at helping you get fine dust and dirt into the pan.
