I normally clean with a vinegar/water/dawn mixture, is that ok? 20 year old plank hardwood** A: I vacumn the floors and go over them with my dust mop and then apply the product. Our floors are 126 yrs old and they look newer than my floor in the kitchen that was put down 13 yrs ago. You can wash your floors with your mixture. It would not hurt to do that.
