Review: Super sharp, incredible value for money, steel quality looks good - Early days with this knife but I am already impressed, it is nicely balanced, super sharp and just the size I wanted. I already have a fish filleting knife from Hoshanho which is equally impressive so I was confident this would be a good buy. I am still amazed that they can sell these knives at this price as I have other Japanese knives that are literally 10 times the price. Time will tell at how good it is about maintaining its edge and how long it is between sharpening but I am optimistic. A diamond whetstone is a must.

Early days with this knife but I am already impressed, it is nicely balanced, super sharp and just the size I wanted. I already have a fish filleting knife from Hoshanho which is equally impressive so I was confident this would be a good buy. I am still amazed that they can sell these knives at this price as I have other Japanese knives that are literally 10 times the price.
