To make a super long story short, I wanted to build an automatic air freshener that sprays standard sized air freshener cans every two hours for about 4 seconds. I got sick of the plugins, annd one second sprayers that use those tiny cans that cost a fortune and last a week. Anyway, after figuring out what I needed, I decided these would be what I use to depress the nozzle on the spray cans. A homemade circuit would send 12 volts to one of these for 4 seconds and spray the air freshener. Works like a charm.
