A: I believe that Rotring is now made in Japan. See ref.http://edjelley.com/2014/02/22/rotring-800-0-5mm-pencil-review/http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/200461-rotring-600-made-in/

**Q: Does this come with the metal internals or is it the plastic ones that were from old stock**
A: The Rotring 800 Mechanical Pencil is a full body metal pencil. The internal parts of the pencil are also metal.

**Q: Does this 800 have the lead hardness grade indicator ?**
A: Nope

**Q: 2 Tips and Key. Instructions state that ‘2 tips and 1 key are included’ however did not find any in the box. Anyone else missing these items?**
A: Hmm. I bet that part of the instructions only refers to the 800 plus and is about the stylus tips, not part of the standard 800.
