Review: Excellent quality - Love these pans. Stainless steel is still spotless, lids fit well and retain heat really well. Don't expect the copper bottoms to stay shiny and bright like when they arrive as, by there nature, they tarnish with the heat whilst in use. You can polish them up to there original shininess but they will only tarnish again next time they are used. Cleaning is easy so long as nothing gets too burnt on but make sure you use a non-scratch scourer. The non-stick milk pan is brilliant and it really is non-stick, like I have never come across before, as is the frying pan. Make sure you season the (very big) skillet properly otherwise it is the very devil to clean especially after searing meat at higher temperatures. As a kit, it is comprehensive but I do not use the largest pan and the skillet very much due to their size. I have bought another 16cm pan as I find these the ideal size for two of us. Some reviews have said that the silicone coated handles get hot but I have not found this to be the case. After nearly a year of heavy use they are still in perfect condition and if they last as long as my old Prestige copper bottom pans did (over 25 years) They will probably outlast me! On the downside, my wife finds them a little heavy and the only criticism I have is the width of the handles which could do with being a little wider and deeper to ensure a really good grip. Time will tell as to their longevity, but I would buy them again.
Review: A very high quality set of Saucepans, well worth the investment. - I brought this set of ProWare Copper Base Pans without hesitation when I was able to afford to do so. As a child throughout growing up my Mother & Father taught me to cook with a set of ProWare Pans which they had as a wedding present over forty seven years ago. Predating teflon & other non-stick products you cannot under estimate the pure joy of preparing a meal & using these pans. I personally find using gas hobs better for myself the copper bottoms conduct & retain the heat without burning the food at constant temperature. They are also very easy to clean by hand (My Dad says they scrub up nice & shiny being put in a dish washer once in a while but then I would know as I used to get my pocket money for doing the washing up as a kid in our house). I wouldn't say I'm an expert in cookware however these pans are timeless in style, classics. I have never liked cooking with Aluminim or non-stick coated pans these are triple layered (copper bottomed, inner aluminium & outer steel) due to the concerns I have over health risks (These are unsubstantiated & of my opinon) I have to say based on my folks Proware Pans (That the've had for over forty seven years) the set i brought will probably outlast me. This far after using my own set of pans for a few weeks I find no fault with them but if they are anything like the quality of my folks then only a lifetime will tell.

Love these pans. Stainless steel is still spotless, lids fit well and retain heat really well. Don't expect the copper bottoms to stay shiny and bright like when they arrive as, by there nature, they tarnish with the heat whilst in use. You can polish them up to there original shininess but they will only tarnish again next time they are used. Cleaning is easy so long as nothing gets too burnt on but make sure you use a non-scratch scourer. The non-stick milk pan is brilliant and it really is non-stick, like I have never come across before, as is the frying pan. Make sure you season the (very big) skillet properly otherwise it is the very devil to clean especially after searing meat at higher temperatures. As a kit, it is comprehensive but I do not use the largest pan and the skillet very much due to their size. I have bought another 16cm pan as I find these the ideal size for two of us. Some reviews have said that the silicone coated handles get hot but I have not found this to be the case. After nearly a year of heavy use they are still in perfect condition and if they last as long as my old Prestige copper bottom pans did (over 25 years) They will probably outlast me!
