The steel comes with a full factory edge, but holds a sharp edge well. It’s easy to sharpen and hone. The handle fits well in the hand and is also easy to whip with twine & would likely take a paracord also. The sheath is very hard leather but softens easily with oiling and light chewing (no I don’t use my teeth to chew my leather goods soft). Review: Beautiful Quality and Sharpness - Beautiful. Even more beautiful in person. It came in a leather sheath. They covered it in some type of oil. I'm not sure why. Quality is amazing and has a good weight to it. Worth the purchase ## Features - True Layered Damascus steel sharp Blade, in rain drop pattern , hammer forged - Original Cow hide Leather Sheath - Ring Size: 25mm, so, it will move in hand easily ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CR6MR4B6 | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #123,168 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #344 in Fixed Blade Hunting Knives | | Blade Edge | V-Grind | | Blade Length | 4.5 inches | | Blade Material | Damascus Steel | | Blade Shape | Trailing Point | | Blade Type | karambit | | Brand | AMJ Crafts | | Brand Name | AMJ Crafts | | Color | Damascus | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 31 Reviews | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | NO | | Included Components | Sheath | | Item Length | 8.5 inches | | Item Shape | Trailing Point | | Item Weight | 200 g | | Manufacture Year | 2025 | | Manufacturer | AMJ Crafts | | Model Name | AMJ-Karambit-blade | | Model Number | AMJ-0101 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Orientation | Vertical | | Part Number | AMJ-106 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | outdoor | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 4.5" | | Special Feature | Lightweight | | Special Features | Lightweight | | Style | American | | Theme | Halloween | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** Damascus Steel - **Brand:** AMJ Crafts - **Color:** Damascus - **Handle Material:** NO - **Included Components:** Sheath - **Model Name:** AMJ-Karambit-blade - **Recommended Uses For Product:** outdoor - **Special Feature:** Lightweight - **Style:** American ## Images ![Damascus Steel Hunting Knife Kit, 8.5 Inches Overall, Fixed Blade, Leather Sheath, DIY Knife making Supplies… - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A18oEaKdJFL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent quality steel *by T***H on February 9, 2025* This knife has a beautiful crescent shape which fits well with a Wicca or moon focused altar. Worth the purchase ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ almost a good start *by B***N on October 29, 2024* it looks good, until you notice the hole is off center. Then I cant help but see it all the time. It will take time to make the material around the hole the same dimentions. ## Frequently Bought Together - AMJ Crafts Damascus Steel Hunting Knife Kit, 8.5 Inches Overall, Fixed Blade, Leather Sheath, DIY Knife making Supplies… - Sutemribor 1/2" 3/8" 5/16" 1/4" 3/16" 5/32" 1/8" 3/32" 1/16" Brass Rods Assortment Kit, Brass Solid Round Rod Lathe Bar Stock for Craft Making, Handle Pin, 3.94" in Length (36 Pieces) - Brass Rods 1/8 x 12, 10Pcs, Knife Handle Material, Rod for Crafts, Solid Brass Round Stock, Knife Pins, Rivet Dowel for Knifemaking Handles Scales, for Hardware, Novelty, DIY, Hobby, Model Car --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/605025647-damascus-steel-hunting-knife-kit-8-5-inches-overall-fixed](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/605025647-damascus-steel-hunting-knife-kit-8-5-inches-overall-fixed) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
