But after a few months, the sprayer seems to be affected by oil, spray stops working, top shoots off under explosive force while pumping! NOT RECOMMENDED 👎 **Q: Why misto explodes shooting top and oil everywhere?! after a few months, spray stops working??** A: It never worked so I returned it foe a refund. **Q: Does this spray a mist, or is it a jet that comes out?** A: I depends on what you want to use in it. If you use a thin liquid like water then you will get a spray (because of the present situation I use a 50/50 mixture of Detol and Water and I get a very useful spray). I tried it with a thin spray oil to use as a spray into a fry pan but the oil was still to thick and cold so I got a jet. If I warmed the container then I got spray. To be honest, we threw it away after 6 months. So difficult to keep the nozzle unblocked. Much better than the plastic bottle alternatives. I can use actual cooking oils and not synthesised products in moderation (no more FryLight). No leaks, and looks discreet on an open shelf. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ at last a real "mister" *by M***R on 14 October 2022* I never bother to write reviews but this product deserves to be promoted. I purchased two other makes in the hope that they would "live up to" their statements that a "fine" mist of oil for my air frier would result. Both were returned as they just sent out a solid stream of oil, to be fair to Amazon they helped with the return and gave me my money back in full. So it was with some trepidation that I opened the product and filled it half full ( as per the instructions)I then pressed the pump 20 times and pressed the button - WOW - a fine mist ensued !!!!
