Well it’s salt and the blocks are the same size as a Harvey’s block. I’ve started putting them in a Water softener that was using. Harvey’s with no issue. I’m sure you be ok **Q: Hi. The blocks fuse together in the packaging and are very hard to separate. Is there any easy way to do this?** A: Always a nuisance when this happens. I sometimes open up the plastic wrapper and lay it flat on the floor. Lift the pair of blocks a few inches above the floor and drop them down. Invariably this breaks the seal. Alternatively I have laid the blocks flat on the wrapper and then using a wooden mallet tapped the sharp end of a clean chisel between the blocks. One of these methods has always worked for me. I have found all makes of block salt have this problem.
