If I'm doing smaller or SMD stuff, then I apply another thin layer, place the part, and apply heat, whether air or iron. My temps are usually between 320-350°C. As long as you have scrubbed away the initial grime, evaporates really nicely with no discernible residue. There's a good quantity for what you pay, so a solid value. It comes in a syringe applicator including two luer lock tips (same size), which make it really easy to apply. I also really like that the tube of the syringe has an integrated stopper so that the plunger is removable for clean and easy storage between uses. Highly recommend. *by S***L on 20 October 2025* I cannot for the life of me figure out why there are negative reviews on this and one person saying the tube was soft or squishy or something like that? The tube is solid plastic so that makes zero sense. I was soldering in a tight space and truly appreciated the fine point tips that were included. Solder went where I wanted and I was finally able to fix a project I had been putting off for a while.
