So if you can stomach the price tag, it does live up to the hype. I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user and we went on vacation to a historic place and I knew there would be a few places I wouldn't be able to use my wheelchair and needed a stool to sit on. This absolutely did the job. I always felt very stable sitting on it and it was as reasonably comfortable as one could expect. My son carried it for me when I was in the chair and it's super lightweight. So far only the one trip I needed it for, but it was worth it just for the one trip. I'm 6'5" and 185lbs. The weight was not a problem. That said, at it's max setting it's too short to use as a cane. For my situation, that wasn't a big deal. But just be forewarned to take their "user height" recommendation seriously. I did buy another folding cane/chair thing for this trip so I had options if this didn't work well.
