As I already own a Parker Sonnet pen, I was confident that this one would be of good quality. I was right. Its black lacquer body coupled with the contrast bright gold trim is truly stunning. I like the fact that the pen has a good weight to it. It is not substantial, but feels really comfortable. The barrel is exactly as I had hoped; it is thick which allows for a secure grip. **Q: Do all parker refills fit this pen**

**Q: How do I insert the ink cartridge.  I've tried pushing it on but it won't go. I don't want to break anything**
A: Have you tried turning it the other way up. You just press it in and put the lid on. Do you have the right ink cartridge

**Q: Does the nib section on the matte black version have a gloss finish? The photo seems to appear that it does.**
A: No, the entire exterior of this pen is matte black, apart from the gold look trims.  Just adding that it's a lovely weight with a medium nib.  Hope this helps.

**Q: Has anyone tried sketching with this or any Parker pen?**
A: fantastic. Beautiful to write with, wish I had bought it earlier. I never use anyting else now.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely pen. Mine broke though

Was fabulous until it broke inside. Writes like a dream, lovely weight. Then the internal bit snapped and so far I haven’t managed to contact Parker customer services. Website doesn’t work. Phone is never answered. Email address they gave me on Instagram is for India. I don’t think I’m getting a refund or a replacement. Very sad. I’ve used Parker all my life. EDIT: finally got hold of them and they sent me an entirely new pen. Still only four stars and not five because we don’t know if it will happen again.
