Review: So easy - I bake a lot of tri tip and the meat is tough to slice with a sharp knife so I decided to get a cordless electric knife and I’m very impressed with this knife, it’s just like slicing bread. I cut the meat in thin and even slices, the knife worked so good. I don’t know why I waited this long to get one. I also love the red because it’s not a common kitchen appliance color.

The knife worked pretty well at first, but only about three weeks later and I am seeing a marked decrease in the battery life. When I first got the knife I could get through at least 2 and a half, sometimes even 3 full loaves of bread before losing a significant amount of battery power. Now I can't even get through a full loaf on a full charge. I'm hoping I can still return for a refund. I bake 4 loaves every time, and charging the knife between each loaf turns a 20 minute job into a 4 hour plus job. Not happy at all with it! So disappointed... I love that it is cordless, and the storage box is compact. The battery seems to last a decent amount of time. The biggest issue I have is that the blades are pretty short. I'm keeping it because, for the price, this is my solution for cutting my homemade soudough bread, but even cutting sandwich loaves, it is barely long enough to do a good job. I think if I was carving a large turkey it would also be an issue. If the blades were even one inch longer, preferably an inch and a half, it would make all the difference in the world. The "effective cutting" length (the serrated part of the blades is 7 inches.

I bake a lot of tri tip and the meat is tough to slice with a sharp knife so I decided to get a cordless electric knife and I’m very impressed with this knife, it’s just like slicing bread.
