Review: This hot tub worked for 2 months stopped working and Lay Z Spa are trying to ignore my complaints - there is a saying, 'buy cheap buy twice' I bought this hot tub last August from desertcart. It worked really well at first. Then we put it into storage for the winter got it out 3 weeks ago. The pump just keeps saying E08 error. I have made umpteen email appeals to the manufacturer and they are doing everything they can to ignore their statutory duties. They are ignoring my complaint and I'm now getting p1ssed off with desertcart too. So, this is my advice... do not buy a hot tub from Lazy Spa. they have exceedingly poor after sales service. The pump is not fit for purpose. But they've got my money and don't give a damn. Go to Costco, who know how to treat customers. Review: Brilliant - Bought this last year at a very good price. Installed it a few months ago. If you are skeptical about having a lay-z-spa like me then don’t be it is fantastic. This one has the inflatable loungers which is just wonderful. The majority of the time it’s just 2 in it however 6 of us have been in it. ## Features - Relax and unwind in your very own fully functional inflatable hot tub featuring Aqua glow water powered LED lights - Suitable for 5-7 people - HydroJet pro massage system - Eight directional and flow-adjustable HydroJets supported by 140 soothing AirJets - Inflatable seating area with integrated foot massager ensuring the distinct portable spa experience - Rapid heating system heats water Up to a blissful 40 Degrees Celsius - allowing you to simultaneously heat your hot tub and enjoy the hydrodynamic massage system - includes power saving timer to reduce heating costs - Up to 2 Years Warranty - Included with all Lay-Z-Spa for peace of mind and Lay-Z-Spa has a dedicated UK based Aftersales Support team to help with your enquiries ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B078SD6ZGV | | Best Sellers Rank | 454,693 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 351 in Hot Tubs | | Brand | Lay-Z-Spa | | Brand Name | Lay-Z-Spa | | Capacity | 1050 litres | | Colour | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 3.4 out of 5 stars 24 Reviews | | Is Assembly Required? | No | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 92L x 85W x 75H centimetres | | Item Shape | Square | | Item Type Name | Maldives Hydro Jet Pro Hot Tub Inflatable Spa with LED Lights | | Item Weight | 75.37 Kilograms | | Item weight | 75.37 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Lay-Z-Spa | | Manufacturer Part Number | BW54173GB | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 Year Warranty | | Material | Tri-Tech | | Material Type | Tri-Tech | | Model Name | Maldives HydroJet Pro | | Model Number | BW54173GB | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Jets | 140 | | Product dimensions | 92L x 85W x 75H centimetres | | Seating Capacity | 7 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Voltage | 230 Volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Lay-Z-Spa - **Colour:** Brown - **Item weight:** 75.37 Kilograms - **Material:** Tri-Tech - **Product dimensions:** 92L x 85W x 75H centimetres ## Images ![Lay-Z-Spa Maldives HydroJet Pro Hot Tub Inflatable Spa with LED Lights, 1050 Litre, Brown, 85 x 75 x 92 cm - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81pJ1UFPe0L.jpg) ![Lay-Z-Spa Maldives HydroJet Pro Hot Tub Inflatable Spa with LED Lights, 1050 Litre, Brown, 85 x 75 x 92 cm - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81GkqfPdCkL.jpg) ![Lay-Z-Spa Maldives HydroJet Pro Hot Tub Inflatable Spa with LED Lights, 1050 Litre, Brown, 85 x 75 x 92 cm - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81oGiXdCFWL.jpg) ![Lay-Z-Spa Maldives HydroJet Pro Hot Tub Inflatable Spa with LED Lights, 1050 Litre, Brown, 85 x 75 x 92 cm - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/713pSjNAgsL.jpg) ![Lay-Z-Spa Maldives HydroJet Pro Hot Tub Inflatable Spa with LED Lights, 1050 Litre, Brown, 85 x 75 x 92 cm - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61v6qF9i4-L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ This hot tub worked for 2 months stopped working and Lay Z Spa are trying to ignore my complaints *by O***N on 9 September 2019* there is a saying, 'buy cheap buy twice' I bought this hot tub last August from Amazon. It worked really well at first. Then we put it into storage for the winter got it out 3 weeks ago. The pump just keeps saying E08 error. I have made umpteen email appeals to the manufacturer and they are doing everything they can to ignore their statutory duties. If you are skeptical about having a lay-z-spa like me then don’t be it is fantastic. This one has the inflatable loungers which is just wonderful. The majority of the time it’s just 2 in it however 6 of us have been in it. ### ⭐ Problems to know about *by R***N on 6 June 2022* I was not able to fit the LED lights and when I requested help from the seller I was directed to the manufactures; no attempt was made to assist me. The jets on this spa bath are very disappointing and in my opinion do not add any value to the product. Please also note that the seller will not accept a return once the product has been used. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lay-Z-Spa Maldives HydroJet Pro Hot Tub Inflatable Spa with LED Lights, 1050 Litre, Brown, 85 x 75 x 92 cm - Bestway Lay-Z-Spa Hot Tub Filter Cartridge VI for All Lay-Z-Spa Models - 6 x Twin Pack (12 Filters) - Bestway 60310 Lay-Z-Spa cleaning kit, Lazy Spa Accessory for Inflatable hot tubs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/59645053-lay-z-spa-maldives-hydrojet-pro-hot-tub-inflatable-spa](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/59645053-lay-z-spa-maldives-hydrojet-pro-hot-tub-inflatable-spa) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
