## Description

WHAT IT IS: The Alpha Beta Medium Peel consists of 20% Salicylic Acid (Beta Hydroxy Acid) and 50% Glycolic Acid (Alpha Hydroxy Acid). The combination of BHA & AHA creates a more effective level of peel because the application of Salicylic before Glycolic allows for the acid to penetrate the skin better. WHAT IT IS FORMULATED TO DO: Exfoliates skin and helps to clear clogged pores, oil production, breakouts, blackheads, whiteheads. Minimizes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration while increasing moisture retention and promoting collagen. WHAT IS INCLUDED: Salicylic 20% Peel (1oz/30ml), Glycolic 50% Peel (1oz/30ml), FOR BEST RESULTS: Before Your Peel Prep the skin with a daily exfoliator such as Salicylic 2%, Glycolic 10% or the Alpha Beta Daily Exfoliator Set one week prior to the peel. We strongly recommend conducting a patch test 3 days before applying a peel to ensure no negative or unusual reactions occur. After Your Peel Generously apply Daily Collagen Complex, Hyaluronic Serum or Squalane as needed for tight, dry skin. Use a minimum of broad spectrum SPF 30 every day to protect healing skin. Begin using a daily exfoliator in between peels for long lasting results. DOWNTIME: Moderate. The Alpha Beta Medium peel has mild to moderate downtime and will produce a moderate amount of peeling, similar to the peeling you would get after a moderate sunburn. The peeling will be noticeable and will normally start on day 4 or 5 and last up to 7 days.

Review: Great Product!! UPDATED REVIEW ON PEEL #2 - I can't say enough about this peel. It's easy to use for home peelers. Very user friendly and just great results with a small down time of approximately 35 hours approx HI, I am on Peel #2. I only kept on 5-6 minutes on the glycolic last step as I am cautious. I could have left it on much longer for the 2nd peel, but I got a great smooth result. Peel #2 cleaned up my pores better and my complexion is 100 percent better. I would keep the screw caps of the Gly and Sal bottles and I feel they keep the integrity of the product. So take off the pump and use screw caps. Other than that Perfect result. I have 8 hour downtime on 2nd peel.

I can't say enough about this peel. It's easy to use for home peelers. Very user friendly and just great results with a small down time of approximately 35 hours approx HI, I am on Peel #2. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong but effective peels for skin tone and texture

I am fairly happy with these peels. They are extremely strong, so I would only recommend them to people who already have experience using acids in their routines. The process can be a bit finicky, with several timed steps, and it’s important to apply carefully since getting the product near or in the eyes could be harmful. I was only able to use it a couple of times before starting a prescription retinoid, which should not be combined with strong acids. I also plan to try these on some stretch marks, as I believe glycolic acid in particular is known for helping fade them. In terms of results, I noticed improvements in skin tone (brighter, more even), reduced pigmentation, smoother texture, and even a slight softening of fine lines. I made sure to use sunscreen diligently afterwards, which I think is essential with this type of product.
