It comes in a 300mL screw top bottle, making all the delicious goodness easy to access. Coconut butter is a delicious and natural alternative to traditional, dairy-based butters, with a delicious creamy flavour and sweetness. It differs from coconut oil in that it is made directly from the meat of the coconut itself. Rich in lauric acid, calcium, and magnesium, coconut butter can boost immunity and bone strength, as well as help diminish the strength of harmful bacteria and viruses. Filled with healthy fats, coconut butter boosts metabolism and keeps you full for longer, aiding in weight loss! Our product is also considered a functional food, where it has healing benefits beyond its nutritional contents. Coconut butter can be widely used in cooking: in stir-fries, smoothies, spread on toast, substituted for butter in baking, or even just eaten on its own! Because of its low moisture content, it can be mixed straight into the batter or dough of breads and pastries. It can also enhance soups and be blended with smoothies. Ingredients Coconut P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Directions No special preparation instructions required. The coconut butter is solid at room temperature and softens easily in warm water. It can be distributed on toastх, mixed with smoothies, added to curry, bake in cakes and energy balls or mixed with coffee. I don’t think so as it’s quite oily. **Q: What is the shelf-life of this product, unopened, please?** A: I still have mine opened and used from three years ago. Not recommended as there is a use by date. It looks ok but your enquiry has told me to throw it out! **Q: Has anyone got any tips on mixing this product, please? No matter what I do, I just seem to have the liquid and solid remain separate.** A: Hi there, thanks for getting in contact. Our butter is very temperature sensitive and being a natural product, separation does happen in the shipping process. If you send me a message via Amazon or our website i am happy to provide you a solution. Thanks!Coconut Merchant **Q: is it unrefined and raw? Is it organic?** A: Yes ## Frequently Bought Together - Organic Coconut Butter (300g) Vegan | Great for Cooking and Baking | Zero Cholesterol | Low GI | Ethically Sourced - Coconut Merchant Organic Coconut Oil 500mL | Extra Virgin, Raw, Cold Pressed, Unrefined | Ethically Sourced, Vegan, Ketogenic and 100% Natural | For Hair, Skin & Cooking --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/59119628-coconut-butter-organic-300g-coconut-merchant-great-for-cooking-baking](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/59119628-coconut-butter-organic-300g-coconut-merchant-great-for-cooking-baking) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
