It’s easy to use just clip it on the pot before you strain it, it goes right in the dishwasher top shelf, and it’s easy to store. When I removed it from the packaging, I thought this is bent but when I used it, I realize it needed to be bent order for it to strain. I bought the bright green, so it’s easy to see when stored. I was looking at pots that the side locks and self straining lid, to be honest I didn’t need another pot so I purchased this instead. I’m very happy with the price.

I bought this for a co-worker for a Secret Santa gift. She told me she loves it and uses it all the time. So then why not give it a try myself, rite? I wish it came up just a bit higher but this works fantastic for almost everything I cook/boil. I secure this device to the side of the pot and just slowly drain the water into the sink. No juggling with a strainer. Super safe and easy. I occasionally lose a few noodles into the sink. But I've been losing noodles for a few years now.
