Review: Awesome, simple, and fun - I purchased these for my son for Christmas, but also as a gift for the family. Reviewers who are saying these don’t stick and don’t fly properly are generally incorrect. You can’t just throw these and expect them to land on the ground with the suction cup properly oriented downward. As the instructions state, you should grasp the dart right up against the rear fins. The throw must be in an arc. It takes some practice to throw properly, but in my opinion it’s what makes this fun. The mechanics are important. When I don’t focus sometimes the dart will just tumble through the air. We play on our indoor hardwood floors. These make a very satisfying thwapping sound when they hit the ground right. If there’s any dust or grit on the floor or on the silicone suction cup, they’re less likely to stick. We make a point of either huffing on them, blowing on them, or even occasionally rinsing the suction cup in a bowl of water before the throw (the water is easily shaken off almost completely into the bowl). The darts typically “unsuck” from the floor after a few seconds, but it doesn’t matter because they stay upright. Sometimes they hold tight though. The lack of predictability of that also makes the game more fun because part of the strategy can be to knock over your opponent’s dart. We’ve been playing this for at least an hour a day. There are all sorts of interesting play variations you can make up. Highly recommend.
