I work in an office where I use multiple forms that must be filled out by hand. They give little space to write in them. Having a pen with a very fine point that will not smear is absolutely wonderful. I wanted to get them in black as well but the black ones cost more, enough more that I wasn't willing to pay the difference. I first discovered it in an office supply store 20 years ago when I was driving cross-country and needed a pen. The ink is excellent, flows well and they seem to last forever. I bought two boxes about 13 years ago and have just now bought another box.
