Our product does not contain steroids or anything that will thin the skin. **Q: Can this product help remove scars in the foreskin?** A: No **Q: What causes balanitis?** A: Excess medications especially antibiotics **Q: can it heal or just relieve?** A: Personally I have found that Terrasil can heal Balanitis. You may find that after you stop applying it for awhile that the symptoms have returned. I just re-apply the cream for a few days and the symptoms are gone. For me Terrasil works faster than the Rx prescribed by my doctor. I don't know of any Rx or OTC product that will cure Balanitis for life with one application.
