## Description

The New SC 3 EasyFix White Edition, offers chemical-free cleaning throughout the home, removing up to 99.9% of enveloped viruses* and 99.9% of common household bacteria** from most hard surfaces. The SC 3 produces non-stop, continuous steam. Using two-stage steam regulation, the steam intensity can be easily adapted for each surface and level of grime. Use the included accessory pack to hygienically clean hard surfaces such as grout, tiles, exhaust hoods, stovetops, countertops, & more. A descaling cartridge permits the use of tap water by decalcifying it, increasing the lifetime of the device. Using a convenient hook-and-loop system, the microfiber floor cloth can be effortlessly attached to the floor nozzle and removed again without any dirt contact. Best of all, the cloths are machine washable and reusable. *Tests have shown that with spot cleaning of 30 secs at max. steam level with the Karcher steam cleaner 99.9% of enveloped viruses such as coronavirus or influenza can be removed on common smooth household hard surfaces (test-germ: Modified-Vaccinia-Ankara-Virus). **When thoroughly cleaning with the Karcher steam cleaner up to 99.9% of all common household bacteria will be killed on common smooth household hard surfaces, provided the cleaning speed of 30 cm/s at max. steam level.

Review: Works great...design could be better. - This works really well. It heats quickly and is more than hot enough. We've cleaned tile floors, showers, tubs, sinks, the commode and mirrors and are very pleased. I spent the extra on this one because it wasn't made in China. It has a built in handle and needs to be picked up to be moved between rooms. It seems like it should roll, but we tried to roll it when going room to room and it tipped over. The downside to this steam cleaner is there is not onboard storage for the hose or the cord. If it had a retractable cord...I would pay more for that. As it is, it works great, but that would make it outstanding.

Refill water without stopping what you are doing - no turning it off, etc. Just pour more water in. I bought a Karcher power sprayer 20 years ago - still going strong. I am sooooo glad I spent the extra money to buy the best steamer on the market. For me, well worth the extra dollars. (A major manufacturer has recalled thousands of those hand-held steamers - but the knock-offs are still out there - beware.) BTW: I bleed red, white and blue - wish there was a US product that could compete with Karcher - but not at this time.

**Q: Can I use tap water, or do I need distilled water?**
A: Yes. For models featuring an integrated descaling cartridge, like the SC 3 EasyFix, you can use 100% tap water as the machine filters it automatically. The machine will indicate when the cartridge has reached its capacity and needs to be replaced.

**Q: Why does a little water come out of the nozzle when I first pull the trigger?**
A: This is a normal result of steam condensing in the hose while the machine heats up. Before starting your task, simply point the nozzle into a sink or cloth for a few seconds. Once cleared, you’ll get consistent steam for a perfect clean.

**Q: Can I use detergents or floor cleaners in the tank?**
A: To protect your machine, only use water. Adding cleaning agents or oils directly into the tank can damage the boiler. Don't worry—the steam alone kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses without the need for harsh cleaners!

**Q: Is steam cleaning safe for my wood or laminate floors?**

This works really well. It heats quickly and is more than hot enough. We've cleaned tile floors, showers, tubs, sinks, the commode and mirrors and are very pleased. I spent the extra on this one because it wasn't made in China. It has a built in handle and needs to be picked up to be moved between rooms. It seems like it should roll, but we tried to roll it when going room to room and it tipped over. The downside to this steam cleaner is there is not onboard storage for the hose or the cord. If it had a retractable cord...I would pay more for that. As it is, it works great, but that would make it outstanding.

YES - I bought the right item. So glad I did not opt to go with one of the cheaper hand-held steamers. This is awesome - quite versatile. ### ⭐ Steamy or dripping wet?

This is the worst cleaning tool I have spent $ on. It gets every thing sopping, dripping wet so you have to wipe up the floor, the counter tops, things you may have left on the counter tops, etc. So make sure you remove every thing before starting. Have extra rags on hand. First picture is of the refrigerator drink dispenser where the steam did absolutely nothing but drip down the front of fridge so I needed to dry and shine that up. The 2nd pic is showing some water that dripped while I was cleaning them counter doors. This puddle doesn't accurately describe the amount of water as I hadn't thought to take photo until I had dried the area. . So I had to stop and wipe every thing off so again wouldn't have streaks. Thankfully I have mop I can dry the floor with when done. I wanted to return the product, I hate it so much but it appears you can't return used items. I probably could have returned if I bought locally rather than via Amazon. I would give it negative stars if available. Please look at ,maybe, a dry steam system but not any similar to this. You will also have and extra load of cleaning rags to wash/dry.
