Took about an hour. All screws lined up. My husband got our son lined out on first chair and then he put them together himself. He isn't exactly mechanically inclined but show him once he's good to go. Chairs are comfy and sturdy. I purchased the wood grain looking top and it does look like wood, looks nice against the black metal frame. Great value for what I paid and doesn't look cheap. Cleaning will be easy. It's a great size for small spaces, but chairs will not tuck in tight to table just because of legs and a smaller table profile. It's weight is not too heavy but sturdy enough it's not going anywhere.

Bought this as a gift for my son. It was packaged well, shipped promptly. Arrived in two boxes at the same time. Easy to put together. Took about an hour. All screws lined up. My husband got our son lined out on first chair and then he put them together himself. He isn't exactly mechanically inclined but show him once he's good to go. Chairs are comfy and sturdy.
