I’ve been using it weekly for several months with no issues. Dried evenly so no need to swap shelves. Easy to clean. Large capacity which is awesome, it’s one and done, nothing is worse then having to do 2 batches in a dehydrator. Temperature range has worked well. Both low and high temp settings are accurate. Would definitely recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST OUT THERE, Safer. Quieter, Efficient, Ease of Use *by on Reviewed in the United States December 15, 2025* I have purchased the most popular brands of hydrators through the years and this is the BEST CHOICE in terms of1. ease of use, visibility of controls2 adequate lighting, you don't have to take it apart to view how well your food is dehydrating (very important time saver)3. Fair Price for the overall quality4. Two Fans5. Not too heavy to transport6. The grid metal inserts have small enough squares that you can use smaller pieces of food without using plastic inserts7. your food is dehydrated "safer" with the stainless shelves that air out well because they have an open system rather than using the plastic ones (most popular brands offer in which the smell and chemicals can leach in your food!)8. Non annoying alarm goes off once when done.9. Easy cleanup, stick the shelves in the Micro Wave10. Very Quiet ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by on Reviewed in the United States November 25, 2024* It’s huge. I normally keep it in a closet when I’m not using it when I am not using it because it does take up a lot of space. It doesn’t get so hot on the outside that I’m worried about touching it and burning myself or damaging my counters. It isn’t loud but does make a little sound. I often forget I have it on.My house is filled with big jerky eaters. I dehydrated 6-9 lbs a week. We like it very dry, thin and simple with just salt. I don’t follow the directions in the book for jerky. I turn it all the way up and dehydrate it for much longer than directed to get crisp almost chip like jerky. It doesn’t take 8-9 hours like my 5 tray dehydrator I got from Walmart. I can easily dehydrate meat in 3 hours.I’ve had it for a couple of months and have used it a lot! The machine works great. It’s easy to use. And is easy to clean. When I received it, I washed it, then turned it on high for a couple of hours to get rid of the smell that I read about but didn’t experience.I love it. I hope it works a long time! ## Frequently Bought Together - Food-Dehydrator Machine 12 Stainless Steel Trays, 10.9ft² Meat Dehydrator for Jerky, 800W Dryer for Herbs, 190ºF Temperature Control,24H Timer,Powerful Drying Capacity for Fruits,Yogurt - 8 Pcs Silicone Food Dehydrator-Trays with Edge, 8 Pcs Mesh Dryer Mats,Reusable Non Stick Silicone Dehydrator Sheets (11x 11in) for Liquids,Fruit Leather,Herbs,Meat and Yogurt - Complete Dehydrator Cookbook: How to Dehydrate Fruit, Vegetables, Meat & More --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/581696155-food-dehydrator-machine-adjustable-temperature-12-trays-800w-food-dryer](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/581696155-food-dehydrator-machine-adjustable-temperature-12-trays-800w-food-dryer) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
