Its satin finish combines performance with a sleek aesthetic, making it an ideal upgrade for street engines requiring precise fuel metering and enhanced throttle response. Compatible with multiple intake manifolds, it’s a plug-and-play solution designed to elevate your vehicle’s driving experience. ## Description The Edelbrock AVS2 Series 1906 is a satin-finished four-barrel carburetor with electric choke that is designed and calibrated for optimum street performance in engines that require an air-fuel flow of 650 CFM. The AVS2 is a perfect replacement or upgrade that features annular flow primary boosters with a new calibration for improved off-idle and cruising performance. The annular flow booster design delivers improved fuel atomization to eliminate flat spots that may be encountered as the carburetor transitions from idle to full throttle. Each annular flow booster features eight equally spaced orifices to improve fuel metering from idle to the main circuit. The improved flow metering makes this carburetor ideal for use with a wide variety of small- and big-block engines with either dual- or single-plane intake manifolds. The Edelbrock AVS2 #1906 includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance. It comes with: .101 primary and.098 secondary metering jets; .070 x .037 metering rods; orange (5" Hg) step-up spring. Use our Carburetor Stud Kits #8008 or #8024 if needed. Match with a variety of manifolds that include Edelbrock Performer, Performer EPS, RPM Air-Gap, Performer RPM, Torker II or other brands of similar design. ## Features - Satin Finish - 4 Barrel - Annular Booster Type - Electric Choke Type - 650 cfm Maximum Flow Rating ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000ITVUAM | | Best Sellers Rank | #28,654 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #43 in Automotive Replacement Carburetors | | Brand | Edelbrock | | Brand Name | Edelbrock | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 579 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | Cast | | Fuel Type | electric | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00085347019069 | | Included Components | base gasket, fuel filter | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 4.1"D x 5.5"W x 5.5"H | | Item Part Number | 1906 | | Item Type Name | CARBURETOR | | Item Weight | 3.8 pounds | | Manufacturer | Edelbrock | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1906 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 90 Day Manufacturer | | Model Number | 1906 | | Number of Items | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | 1906 | | Part Interchange Info | replacement | | Product Dimensions | 4.1"D x 5.5"W x 5.5"H | | Specific Uses For Product | Performance | | UPC | 085347019069 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Vehicle Service Type | Car | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Edelbrock - **Fuel Type:** electric - **Product Dimensions:** 4.1"D x 5.5"W x 5.5"H - **Specific Uses For Product:** Performance - **Vehicle Service Type:** Car ## Images ![1906 AVS2 Carburetor 650 CFM With Electric Choke, Satin Finish - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/619jn4ocwfL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Edelbrock 1906 AVS2 Carburetor 650 CFM With Electric Choke, Satin Finish - Edelbrock Carburetor Adapter 2696, Aluminum Carburetor Carb Spacer Plate 0.85 inch, Square Bore to Spread Bore Carburetor Adapters Kits for Stock Quadrajet & Thermo-Quad Manifold with Flange Gaskets - WOWYZL 304147 EZ-EFI Cable Mount Kit Carburetor Throttle Cable Mount Bracket Steel Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/57919966-1906-avs2-carburetor-650-cfm-with-electric-choke-satin-finish](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/57919966-1906-avs2-carburetor-650-cfm-with-electric-choke-satin-finish) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
