Review: It really is Non stick! And it's really pretty. - It was time to purchase a new10 inch skillet. I was looking for awhile and kept coming back to Hexclad. I've seen Hexclad and thought they looked really nice but the price was always out of reach for me. I thought to myself, "Are they really worth the hype I've seen online?" I happened to ask my sister in law if she knew anyone who had them and she said that they have them. She said she loves hers and that she's had them for a couple of years with no issues. Her husband just bought the 7 inch for his eggs. I decided to get the 10" skillet because it was on sale during a Prime Day sale. It came packaged really well. It was inside a bag that was inside the Hexclad box that was inside of a cardboard box that was inside of desertcart's shipping box! I've only had it a couple of weeks but I really like cooking with it. So does my husband. It uses a lower heat than the pans I was using before. I cooked scrambled eggs and they came right out of the pan and it looked almost clean! I've made home made Alfredo sauce on a low heat and it slid right out of the pan too. Last night I made smash burger tacos in it and they were delicious. Clean up was a breeze. I wiped it out with a paper towel. It looked clean because nothing stuck to it but I then hand washed it with soap. I've made a few other things and so far no food has stuck to it. I love that I can use it in the oven too. When cooking on the stove it cooks evenly, even up the sides of the pan. The pan is comfortable to use and it's not too heavy. I struggle with a bad shoulder so that's really important for me. I like it so well that I just might have to buy the 12" soon.
Review: Daily use, with oil, improves performance. - I really thought i messed up. All that money for this pan, and eggs stuck! Well it was only the first day. I seasoned it with some canola oil, heated it up and tried it out. I hate flipping eggs on a good day, and this was NOT a good day. Stuck to the bottom, even with small amount of oil. But i really needed a pan, and, like it or not, it was going to get used hard, every day for breakfast, and sometimes dinner, too! Bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, hamburger, steak, and the eggs. I give up, i just help them with a spatula and steam with a little water. Did that even with a nonstick pan. So i guess i couldnt complain. So, as it turned out, all that greasy food has done a good job seasoning the pan, and i can still use the plastic spatulas and not scratch the surface. When im done, deglazing the pan, and wiping it down cleans it up well. Dont use soap, or youre back to square one. I have a few little grease stains on that nice stainless edge, cosmetic, from pouring out excess oil before cooking. Scrambled eggs pull easily off the pan, nothing gets really stuck, like the first day. It pays to use the pan all the time, and this 12in pan just might last longer than the nonstick ones ive gone through every year, and that would be worth the $200. One thing, like if youve cooked up some meat, like bacon, etc. and you plan on putting eggs next in that pan, deglaze the pan with small amount of water to bubble off all that sticky stuff. Then pour in the eggs and they wont stick at all! Daily use for 2 weeks, and it seems like its broken in. I havent tried an omlette in it yet. I may just chicken out and get another nonstick for omlettes. Next im gonna try the titanium pan, see how that works! Meanwhile we will see how long the hexclad lasts. I thoroughly expect this pan to last me years, which is more than i can get out of the average nonstick! I go through one of those a year. And at $50 a pop, its getting old. If this pan, "pans out", i may get the hexclad wok, next! Update, the more i use it, the more nonstick it gets! This pan is a real workhorse! Update, may 29. Im back to using stainless steel spatulas, they work best of all. Not perfectly non stick. I wont try an omlette in this pan, but you cant beat it for everything else! I use a copper scour pad and hot water to clean it, right off the stove. The outside has developed a brown patina from daily use, not affecting performance. Other thing i noticed. I used to just slap bacon strips on a cold pan heating up. Not with this pan you dont! I heat the pan a bump past Medium. When its heated up, now i put down the bacon and it cooks evenly instead of burning in the center of pan. Live and learn, huh? Uploaded this pan, dont know if it made it. This pan works hard! After using stainless turners, the finish is just fine. Youd just about have to take a corner of a stainless turner and gouge the pan, pressing hard! Who does that? Im thinking of getting a pizza steel. Pressing a sharp pizza wheel might be a good test of the hybrid finish! Im thinking of getting that titanium soon just to spread the work.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love my Pan!
*by F***. on September 2, 2026*

To find a 7" that has a nice glass lid... a plus! I wasn't essentially looking for non stick cookware, because after all in the past, none are permanent. That is not to say that Hex Clad will peel. However, looking at reviews it appears they are no different. Perhaps it is how it is cooked in and taken care of. No idea. But I now have a few pieces, the 14" griddle with lid, the pizza pan which I love and this pan which I bought for the size. In cooking for 1, it is perfect. It cleans up beautifully and I love how it feels. It cooks evenly, the handle is very comfortable and this is very versatile. I have a 7" enameled cast iron, (no lid), which got placed in the back of the cupboard after this arrived. I keep it in its covers more to protect it from getting dinged in a small cupboard. I have yet to wash it in the dishwasher as it is really easy to clean by hand. Often you are sauteing a few onions or something small. Or, in my case 1 or 2 eggs. Tiny Omelet, etc. It is a very useable size for a small family. The handle does stay cool. Only time will tell if the surface coating comes off. I purchased Le Creuset and All Clad stainless steel (no non-stick) and am pleased with them. They take extra care to keep nice like new and I have done so. I am thinking about getting the .5 quart pot ... mainly for butter, and small melts and it has pour spouts on it (no lid). Not sure I want to spend the money as I do have a stainless steel .5 All Clad that I use often, but if I am doing something that could stick, this coating might be beneficial. Just still on the fence. I love this pan however, and have not had anything stick to it. It is a dream to clean and looks beautiful on my induction stove. This pan is more versatile than you think. There are tons of things you cook every day that would work best in a small pan such as this. Give it a try!
